Briana Edwards was a 2-year starter for Coach Brian Thomas' Bama Storm 16U team. During her 80 plus games, Bri averaged 14 PPG, 8 RPG, 2 Blocks and 3 Assists. Briana was a model of consistency and came to play every game. She played every position form point guard to post and was often doubled by her opponents. Bri quickly became know as the iron-women in summer basketball circles because she rarely came out of a game to rest. Coach Thomas was quoted as saying "Bri rarely needed coaching because of here knowledge of the game, hard work on and off the court, and her iron-will to win." "It was a pleasure to coach her". Briana is and will always be, a member of the Mobile Girls Basketball Association. Go Storm!
